Dr. Rishu Gupta is professionally qualified Physiotherapist, she had done Bachelor in Physiotherapy from All Saints Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Ludhiana under Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot in the year 2004. She is a certified Life Member of Indian Association of Physiotherapists, with Registration No. L – 42572. She is having vast experience of more than 14 years in this field and has handled patients with different medicals issues as follows:-

    Pain may be in back or neck. It may go down the legs or arm. With the change in lifestyle both at work and at home. These pains can start at the age of 25 . Everyone experience these pains at some or the other point of time.

    Spondylosis is the degenerative condition of spine. Spondylolisthesis is the forward movement of upper vertebra of spine over the lower vertebra of spine. Retrolisthesis is the backward movement of upper vertebra of spine over the lower vertebra. Slip Disc is the displacement of disc out of the normal position of the disc in the spinal region. These conditions can effect any of the spinal regions either cervical, thoracic or lumbar regions.

    Shoulder pain may be due to frozen shoulder, shoulder subluxation, rotator cuff injury or tendinitis. Frozen shoulder is the restriction of shoulder movement in the capsular pattern. Shoulder subluxation can be anterior, posterior or inferior. Rotator cuff injury can be to any of the rotator cuff muscles.

    Tingling or numbness and pins or needles along the length of arm or leg. It can be due to nerve impingement in the cervical or lumbar region causing radicul;opathy in the arm or leg respectively.

    Conditions like Gullian Barre Syndrome, Paralysis, Stroke, Parkinsonism, Parkinson’s Disease, Paraplegia, parapresis commonly affects middle age groups. Cerebral palsy affects the children.
